The 10 episode season featured ancient ruins and caves from all over the world that one would expect from a National Geographic special (such as the stone forest in Markawasi Peru) and with that sort of informative coverage I began to question, just like some of the guests, the origins of these ancient structures and writings. 

 

Although I never went as far as the guests did in automatically assuming that before modern times there is just no way that humans back then could create such things. Now what intrigues me the most about ancient ruins and writings is what happened to the human race that caused advancements in technology to cease. But since this is a series that promotes the theory that it was aliens who helped to create all this, I’ll just focus on what is presented.
