One Tree Hill originally centred around two brothers who conflicted when they joined the same basketball team. Over the years, the series broadened to focus on their friends, family, lovers, and careers, while the producers utilised several narrative time jumps to either jumpstart new storylines or to account for numerous cast changes.
The final episode of
One Tree Hill Season 9 DVD before the series finale brought mixed emotions. Last week delivered the goods while this week may have left some at the gate. What a disappointment it has been to watch the final season with barely any James Lafferty and find that this week, even after Nathan has been rescued, there still wasn’t much to show here.
One Tree Hill Season 9 was filled with emotions and suspense, including the return of many characters from previous seasons. We said Hello again to Chris Keller, Deb, Dan Scott, Lucas, and several more.
Lucas has always been one of my favorite characters throughout the years so it was great to see him come back, although I wish we all saw him much longer and with Peyton and Sawyer.
No matter how many miles apart they are when Nathan is away on business, these two manage to give me butterflies like they did when they were in high school. Just looking at them will make you smile, thinking of how far they have come.
It’s all about the original cast members and referencing back to the golden days of One Tree Hill in the clever ways that the writers have done all along. Give us some more of that and there is plenty to look forward to in the series finale.
This was somewhat of a coming-of-age show. We met our characters as juniors in high school. To spend 9 years with those characters, get
