Eyal Lavine is back in town, this time pretending to be a CIA agent.  Annie follows him but ends up just riding with Eyal as he works on a mission.  He finds an informant and attempts to get information out of him.  Eyal and Annie are eventually hit up by gunmen, but they get out alive just as the FBI show up.

 

Covert Affairs centers on a young CIA trainee, Annie Walker, mysteriously summoned to headquarters for duty as field operative. While Annie believes she's been promoted for her exceptional linguistic skills, there may be something or someone from her past that her CIA bosses are really after. Auggie Anderson is a CIA military intelligence agent who was blinded while on assignment and is Annie's guide in this world of bureaucracy, excitement and intrigue.

But after Danielle is mistaken for Annie at the event, it becomes clear that Annie's mission has put both their lives in jeopardy. According to Gorham, there's already been shooting in Istanbul, Stockholm, and Jordan. Plus, it's his understanding that "Auggie is going to Africa." Maybe viewers can look forward to spies on African Safari!
