In the seven season of the west wing seasons 1-7 dvd, It turned even the most hard-nosed, cynical viewers into devoted pseudo-politico-fanboys and this reviewer has three of those things placed very highly.There are no pauses or quiet moments of reflection here. 

 

Sam discovers the woman he slept with the night before is a call girl, and in a show that could have been dry and po-faced, it works very well indeed.Sadly, it's clear her role will be expanded in the coming episodes, although this reviewer already wishes she'd go away.The White House reluctantly celebrates Big Block of Cheese Day in the fifth episode of The West Wing.

 

 

The hitherto wise and moderate Bartlet appears almost childish here, throwing tantrums left,but when Danny agrees to drop the story, we sense this may still come back to haunt Sam in a later episode. concentrating on strong characters (excluding Her Ghastliness Mandy of course) and identifiable human responses and emotions.

 

The questions that immediately come to mind are: Is this hidden pain the reason why Nucky has hardened over the years, and furthermore.
