"Desperate Housewives" was filled with memorable nutjobs played by superb character actors. The show is worthy for you to have a try. The series hooked me right from its opener: Wisteria Street resident Mary Alice Williams (Brenda Strong), the show's narrator, tells us in a soothing, almost sunny tone how one day she reached into the top of her closet, took down a revolver and shot herself dead.
The
Desperate Housewives Season 8 DVD finale featured Marcia Cross’ Bree on trial for the murder of Gabrielle’s (Eva Longoria) perverted stepfather, Alejandro. Poor Mrs. McCluskey, played by Kathryn Joosten, succumbed to her cancer, but not before taking the stand at Bree’s trial to make the claim that she was the one who killed Alejandro, taking the heat off Gabrielle and Bree.
The story says that the rift between Hatcher and the rest of the co-stars on the program had grown dramatically in recent years and with the show wrapped, the gift card on the carry on luggage read, “Just know that on all your future adventures you are carrying a little piece of our love and gratitude. Thank you for a magical 8 years.” It was signed “Eva, Marcia, Felicity and Vanessa.”
Near the end of
Desperate Housewives Season 8, the four principal housewives were seen sitting around a table playing poker and talking. They promised each other that they would meet to play cards again – but that was not to be.
Another storyline that has rumbled on throughout the eighth and final season is the Tom and Lynette divorce. It's a pretty safe bet that the future of the Scavos' marriage will be decided, one way or another, in the finale. We're probably not alone in saying that we expect the two to reunite rather than go their separate ways.
Everything will be renewed, so new life is coming for all the characters. You can click here to get more
