i loved the show because the heroes were themselves criminals who operated outside of the law to help people. Leverage is like a modern A-Team for adults.
Some of the best acting I've ever seen by all the cast. I love the hints of mom and dad dealing with their 3 recalcitrant children amongst the twisting plots, action, humor, affection and the odd/fascinating/lovable/hateful characters they meet every show.
just don't like it. It tries to be funny, cute, and classically "cool" what with the needless explosions and with the 'little guy' prevailing it blatantly intended to give the audience a "Hell yeah!" kind of feeling.
