Covert Affairs Seasons 1-2 DVD tells A young CIA trainee, Annie Walker, is sent out into the field to work at the Domestic Protection Division (DPD). August "Auggie" Anderson, a blind tech operative, is Annie's guide in her new life. Annie's cover story is that she works in Acquisitions at the Smithsonian Museum.

In Covert Affairs Season 1, Annie Walker is removed from the CIA training school and thrust into the inner sanctum of the Agency for what appears to be their need of her exceptional linguistic skills, but there may be something or someone from her past that her CIA bosses are really after. In Covert Affairs Season 2, Annie's personal and professional lives crash into one another, and the balance of her relationships are forever changed.
