"The Killing" is an adaptation of a Danish TV series ,the pace is deliberately set to slow, to let all emotions, settings to sink in, the show gives you very subtle clue.

I think the strength of the series is the well-thought-out main story and the strong character development of pretty much everyone involved. That is something insuperable

This is police work as it really is, plodding, unexciting, procedural, a lot of driving, mixed with a bit of clever intuition, slammin good. This show is a promising show

Good story but series dragged out too long. The main characters were "mumblers" - closed captioning would have been helpful. Wish it would come back for more seasons. But I have to admit that I definitely Love the Holder and Linden relationship. I think they could do more with those two on other assignments
