Item Reviews
I don't watch many telly series anymore. They come, they go and by the time you get interested, they are cancelled. I enjoy movies, but series often just do not have the quality that I seek.
One of the most well acted, directed, and written shows of all time. When creator Aaron Sorkin left after the 4th season, there was a drop in writing quality. you really need one in my mind.
his was absolutely, without argument, the best political drama broadcast to date! Fast-paced, a bit slanted to the left but generally they did a fair job of presenting issues. The best part is that it makes real the fact that flawed human beings run a nation. it is such a interesting series, you should have a try.
To start off, let me just say that I am a big fan of The West Wing and all things Aaron Sorkin, so I knew that I would like this book of scripts from the get go. What I was unprepared for was the "author's note"-like prefaces to each of the scripts, providing a little background and direction. The preface to "Isaac and Ishmael" is particularly interesting because it gives a more detailed account of Sorkin's writing process on this unique episode. In my mind, it is really worth watching.
It is really good to see, I recommend strongly. And the quality is good, which can be played smoothly.
